I'm so glad those poor little pigs came to you  so you could help them heal. You truly are a caring soul!

Those poor guinea pigs. That is so sad but its great that they are better!! Why would anyone do that to a cavie?!? Talk about cruel! I love my 2 guinea pigs, Dudley and Sammy

God bless you for all the good work that you have done. I just rescued a pig from a family who "was waiting for her to die". She bit out a lot of hair and is full of scabs. She is not as bad as Acorn and Thumper. I was glad to see that guinea pigs can recover. I am just starting the treatment and hope for a full recovery.

Hello! These are the people who rescued the piggies. They restored them back to health!!!! These piggies... Oh my gosh, this almost put me in tears. At least everything worked out. They are adorable!

this is absolutely cruel.  piggies are the best pets anyone could own.  i think about mine ALL the time.  i hope that the person that has done all of this gets hit by a car and stays on the road for days, dying, bleeding, tortured.  i also hope body parts are left all over the road.  NOONE should abuse and animal.  THAT IS SICK.

I, unlike the last poster,  hope the people who done this die very slowly. Preferably bleeding from the eyes.  Poor pigs, thank god they were rescued.

Teresa, i admire you so much, congratulations on thumper and acorn's full recovery.  the differences are so amazing and unbelievable.  you have turned their lives around.

This is so horrible!  I too cried when I saw these pictures.  People are so cruel to each other, but it just boggles the mind to see such poor, sweet, defenseless animals tortured like this by others who call themselves human.  Please give Thumper and Acorn my love.

How can people let a pet get like that! Makes me wish I had pictures to give you, too, before you testify of Rufus-- he had scurvy with a fungal infection, but I never thought to take his picture!

I cried too when I say the pictures of these guinea pigs. Thank God for kind hearted people like you who is willing to sacrifice personal comfort and finances for the well being of others. They are in my prayers. Keep up the fabulous work.

Poor little dears! How can some people be so cruel? Hooray for rescuers everywhere who care. Without human advocates, these little darlings have no voices. These little piggies are truly the lucky ones who will find forever homes because someone cares! Great rescue!

Those poor piggies.  Thankfully they found you and you're getting them some help.  Keep us updated on the web as to how they're doing and what's wrong with them.  I can't believe the way some people treat animals and those two are so cute.

When I look at these pictures it brings tears to my eyes.  They have suffered for so long and they have finally found their way to someone who will offer them everything.  Teresa these pigs are so lucky they found you, now they are truly safe.  I just want to say thank you Teresa for dedicating almost all your time to the piggies.  You truly have made a difference in the world and bettered the lives of countless pigs.
