Dan,
I bought a 1974 Scotty 18' Trunkback several months ago it sat under a roof for 21 years on top of a mountain and outside for 3 years. As far as condition the inside is very good to excellent with original cushions and curtains.  The fridge is no good it has a water leak somewhere I dont think that the hot water heater is any good but all woodwork is excellent.  As far as the outside the paint is very good other than the strip above the truck going up to the roof.  I painted the hitch and frame back to under the front of the trailer.  I need to buy 2 new tires, pack the wheel bearing and make sure the brakes work.

Hey Dan!
Good to see your post. Great project! I am glad you are continuing in restoration with the skills you have. We would love to come out one weekend to check it out. We are having so much fun with our Shasta. We will be at Lake Jordan the week of July 12>19, can't wait...Keep up the good work.

This is great, just found this site for my 11yr. old. son  He luvs tires, wheels and small trailers....a generous man just gave him, last week a 1971 Scotty Serro....he is thilled out of his mind he says...
It is very simular to this one.  Same curtains...just I can't find anything on his potty.  It looks like two parts, the top holds water and has a small hand pump/not working...and a pull-out to let is flush...can any one help me there?
The Scotty is in restoration condition...but I am not able to do at this time.
Thanks so much for sharing with us...

We have '69 scotty--just joined.  We have some minor cracking in

I saw your post on CL and thought you might be interested in some things I saved out of a 60's something camper I am tearing down. It was in worse shape than I thought when I bought it. If you have any interest, drop me a line. Dave

I had one like that, sold it because it was to heavy for an old woman to handle by myself. But I really liked it,just big enough for myself. I did  a little work on it ,new covers, water line, curtains, flooring and some other things, just couldnt get the toilet to work. it didnt have a shower. but it was great for the races, and fishing trips to Jordon Lake.Enjoyed looking at the pictures, will check on things later keep up the good work.

Hi Dan

Love the photos!  I've been thinking about you all lately and wondering what you are up to. I need to stop by and see this treasure.
