ZWEIG RESIDENCE Atop the Pierre Hotel *NOT CLEAR* REFERENCE ONLY* The apartment is obviously enormous. The top floor is the old ballroom for the hotel. As you can see, the place is like a museum of 20th century pop culture. In the ballroom, there are cases that are built into the wall and cannot be removed. All art work is on alarm. Mrs. Zweig was willing to open the place up for SATC, but waiting to hear back from her on this project. In any case, I thought it would be fun to look at. Yes. That IS Marilyn Monroe's "Happy Birthday Mr. President" dress and the suits the Beatles wore on Ed Sullivan. Still on the market for a mere 70 million. |
