GOWANUS ALLEY @ UNION ST BRIDGE Gritty. Lots of fire escapes. Building and private alley owned by 20 artists, they do shoots frequently. I also scouted the 2nd and 3rd floor fire escapes of one of the buildings, included in this album. Very nice people.

GROVE PL., BROOKLYN A real alley! Grimy and full of garbage and other debris. Busy during the week but empty on weekends. Law & Order has shot here before. We would need to make deals with all the store owners who use it for parking and for trash.
