Meet Venie, our feisty girl whose attitude appropriately fits the meaning of her name (I came, I saw, I conquered).
Thanks to Karyn Pingel's great idea and Bonnie Turner's generosity, this girl, born April 29, 2004 came to us in June (from Flinthill Kennels) - during a difficult time in our lives. This spitfire was just the "medicine" needed to get over the bump in our road. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
She's our alpha girlie and loves to boss the other doggers around.
This beautiful red spotted black sabled girl LOVES people of all ages, sizes and genders and is our "hugger and kisser". If you give her the chance, she wraps her front legs around your neck and kisses your face like a car wash!
12/06 We had planned to breed Venie and Mikko exclusively during her heat cycle. But this alpha girl had other ideas! With two intact males in the house, she decided that she wanted Marty to be her man, instead. We did get Venie to accept Mikko, and if fact made history with this litter. Venie's litter was the first UKC confirmed AHT litter that was duel-sired. That means that Venie had puppies sired from both Mikko (5 pups) and Marty (1 pup) in the same litter!
I'm hoping to start agility training with her and am currently looking into finding out how to get her certified for therapy work. She'd be awesome in hospitals and my dream would be to take her in children cancer wards. I think that her friendliness and hairlessness would do a lot of healing and helping.
