Mikko was born on January 22, 2003 at Woodland Manor Kennel (www.ahts.net). We are thankful, everyday, for this guy and for Karyn & Ryan Pingel for trusting us with him.
We got him under a "pet contract" - all that changed when Karyn saw how he was growing out and talked me into giving the "dog showing thing" a try. The rest, you could say, is history!
Mikko has had MANY amazing wins, honors and accomplishments and is the AHT "George Washington" and ambassador of the breed. He's the first, and so far, only AHT to make it to the UKC Top Ten Finals where he was honored with a #8 award. He's been featured twice in Dog World Magazine, been on TV and pictured on the front page of a newspaper!
