Rockefeller State Park Rockefeller State Park Preserve 125 Phelps Way Pleasantville, NY 10570 Laurence Gill - Park Manager (914) 631-1470 main Ext. 0 laurence.gill@oprhp.state.ny.us Alex Schnee - Park Executive Jennifer Sylvestri - Park Ranger
The areas are all accessible by vehicle, although some terrain is rougher than others. All requests would have to go through Lawrence for approval. The park worker who took me around believes they can clear away underbrush and fallen trees for us, and have us pay for staff hours, as well as possibly block off access to a path to build the cabin in the middle of it. But again, all requests would have to go through Lawrence first. 1 - 3 of 3 Total. Shared |

Peaceful Path and Railroad Trails | This is where they intersect. The guide who showed me around, Steve, said they could conceivably be blocked off to build the cabin on the road if the clearing full of ferns doesn't work. Again, everything would have to go through Lawrence first. |

Loop off of Equestrian Access | Tree in front of clearing can be removed, but the request would have to go through Lawrence. Rt 17 is just below, so traffic is audible. |

David's Loop | This is an unmarked trail between David's Loop and Brook trail. We were able to drive the truck on it, but most of the terrain is either on an incline or slope. It flattens out the closer it gets to either main trail. |
