None Color? All Color How good are the pictures? Excellent Are there close ups of the marks? Comments: There are no pictures of marks per se, but you can see some marks in the few pictures there are of the backs. All picture are of excellent quality. SCORE: 7 QUANTITY OF INFORMATION: Range of information offered? Is information thorough? Comments: Has the usual information found most everywhere SCORE: 5 QUALITY OF INFORMATION: Accuracy (are there mistakes?): Comments: None noted SCORE: 9 VALUES LISTED: Are they helpful or realistic? Comments: This is the first book ever that has realistic prices, and that’s because there are no prices in the book! SCORE: 9 USER FRIENDLY: Is the book easy to read and follow? Are things easy to find (table of contents/index)? Comments: SCORE: 8 TOTAL AVERAGE SCORE..... 7.8 Is this a must have book? No Overall Comments: Fabulous Fakes has some really great pictures of some rarely seen pieces, and over all that is what it is, a really nice picture book. Information in the book can be found most anywhere. Worth noting are the Picture Frame Brooches on page 96. They are one of my favorites and are becoming rare and hard to find. Of special note, is the Har Dragon Parure on page 136. Found to be hideous by most, it still remains a Great piece of Fantasy Art. | |
