FASHIONCRAFT JEWELRY COMPANY was founded in New York in 1942 by Robert Levy,David Jaffe, and Irving Landsman. The name was changed to Robert Originals in 1960. "Original by Robert" was used from 1942-1979. In The 1950's And 60's Robert created a line of enameled jewelry in Whimsical Fruits & Flowers which has become the epitome of that era.In 1975 Robert Levy retired.
In the 1980's the company reorganized as Ellen Designs,Inc and is under that name today.
