DUETTES CLIPMATES AND MORE

Pieces that have two dress or fur clips mounted together in a removable fashion on a brooch or frame are commonly known as duettes or clip mates. The term "Duette" should only be used for the Coro pieces that are on a frame stamped "Coro Duette". "Duette" is a Coro trademark.

"Clip Mate", or "Clip-Mate", should only be used for Trifari pieces that use the mechanism patented by Trifari in 1936. "Clip-Mate" is a Trifari trademark.
