All Spring High puppies are born and raised in the house. The breeder always has first choice on all litters and may select a puppy or puppies AT BIRTH for future evaluation. The puppies are handled and loved on daily, get exposed to routine household activities and noises, and are well-socialized.
WANT TO VISIT US?
You are welcome to visit us at any time. When we do have puppies, the puppies may be handled by adults only and with certain health and handling precautions discussed prior to the visit. All visits are arranged by appointment only, with no exceptions. Unannounced drive-up visitors are not allowed on our gated property.

We are located south of I-10 and west of I-75, between Lake City and Live Oak.
~If you are traveling east or west on I-10: FROM I-10 - Exit 292 (Wellborn/Suwannee County Road 137)
Take CR 137 south to US 90 and turn left/east. Take US 90 east to Columbia County Road 252A/SW Koonville Ave. and turn right at the closed gas station. Take CR 252A ahead for 2 miles. SW Spring High Gln. will be on your right. We will meet you at the front gate. Sorry, we have no bathroom facilities at our front gate.
~If you are traveling north or south on I-75: FROM I-75 - Exit 427 (US 90/Lake City/Live Oak)
Take US 90 west for 6 miles to Columbia County Road 252A/SW Koonville Ave. and turn left at the closed gas station. Take Koonville ahead for 2 miles. SW Spring High Gln. will be on your right. We will meet you at the front gate. Sorry, we have no bathroom facilities at our front gate.

Your puppy - FL Health Certificate - Bill of Sale - Puppy Registration Papers (UKC and/or UKCI)
The Spring High Health Guarantee (FL Pet Lemon Law) is valid once proof has been given to the Seller that the puppy has been to see the Buyer's vet for a new puppy wellness examination, WITHIN THREE BUSINESS DAYS after the date of purchase.

Puppies will leave Spring High at the Breeder's discretion with considerations given to the puppy's current weight, its maturity level, as well as its possible discomfort or reaction from its first puppy DA2PP vaccination (which includes canine distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza and canine parvo), Bordetella vaccination by nasal drops and a vet deworming.
***IMPORTANT! Dogs/puppies and cats/kittens sold in the state of Florida are required BY LAW to be eight weeks old or older, and to have a current Florida Health Certificate.***
LITTER THEMES - PUPPY NAMES - REGISTRATION
Puppies are named by us with a litter theme for identification purposes only while they are here. New owners get to choose any name they wish for their puppy. However, all puppy names on puppy registration papers will begin with the prefix "SPRING HIGH'S" to identify the puppy as coming from our breeding program. You add your name choice.

Call Sue or Bruce at (386)754-0835. We screen every prospective buyer very carefully. We will turn prospective buyers away who do not meet our criteria. We will be asking you a lot of important questions and, in return, we expect that you will screen us, so please have all of your questions ready for us.
PLEASE NOTE:
-WE DO NOT SELL PUPPIES TO A SECOND PARTY AS A SURPRISE GIFT.
-WE DO NOT SELL PUPPIES TO COMMERCIAL BREEDERS.
-WE DO NOT SELL PUPPIES TO PET BROKERS.
We care about who our puppies and dogs will be living with, because we expect to keep in touch with you for many years to come.
SPRING HIGH BREEDER HOLD, MAKING A DEPOSIT, RESERVING A PUPPY
1. Spring High always has first pick on one or more puppies on all litters. All puppies will be put on hold for one week from birth, due to the fragile health of a newborn puppy. Spring High followed by waiting list buyers will then begin making their selections when the puppies are 7 days old.
2. All of our puppies are born with long, natural tails. Tails are docked and dewclaws are removed on ALL PUPPIES.
3. You may decide to mail your deposit when the puppies are one week old or bring your deposit with you (check or cash) when you come to visit to select your puppy. You will receive a deposit receipt back.
4. The deposit is non-refundable if the buyer decides he/she does not want, or is no longer able, to take the puppy.
5. The deposit is transferable to another available puppy or can be refunded if the reserved puppy should no longer be available to be sold due to illness or accident.
6. Visitors and reserved puppy buyers are welcome to visit the puppies. Puppy eyes typically don't open until they are two weeks old.
7. The deposit amount is half of the purchase price. Checks are to be made payable to Susan H. Cooney and mailed to 207 SW Spring High Gln. in Lake City, FL 32024-2907.
***BE CERTAIN YOU ARE A COMMITTED BUYER BEFORE MAILING YOUR DEPOSIT.***
***YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT SHOULD YOU DECIDE YOU NO LONGER WANT, OR YOU ARE NO LONGER ABLE, TO TAKE THE PUPPY.***
***IF THE PUPPY YOU RESERVE IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE DUE TO ILLNESS OR ACCIDENT, THE BREEDER AGREES TO:
#1 APPLY YOUR DEPOSIT TO ANOTHER AVAILABLE PUPPY FROM THIS LITTER, OR
#2 APPLY YOUR DEPOSIT TO ANOTHER AVAILABLE PUPPY FROM ANOTHER LITTER, OR
#3 APPLY YOUR DEPOSIT TO A PUPPY IN AN UPCOMING PLANNED LITTER, OR
#4 REFUND YOUR DEPOSIT IF YOU DON'T WISH TO APPLY IT TO ANOTHER PUPPY.***
Final payment at pick-up time is EXACT CASH ONLY (that means NO CHECKS). Pick-up is usually scheduled within a few days after the puppies receive their FL health certificates. If you need to board your puppy for a longer length of time, our boarding fee is $10 per night. Necessary heart worm preventative medication, flea & tick medication and follow-up vaccinations would be additional costs to the buyer if a puppy is boarded for a longer period of time.
