"Linda Foster was known as "Kitten" during high school at Tascosa. She was in Les Chanteurs choir and Madrigal Singers, and participated in musical theater and other drama activities. She went on to Texas Tech for one year, when her Air Force parents moved the family to Lake Oswego, Oregon, where she transferred to Lewis and Clark College. Linda received a B.A. in English Literature in 1967, and an MA in English/Psychology in 1969. She became a high school English teacher and media specialist in San Diego, California. Later, she became a specialist in alcoholism and other addictions, designed and worked in addiction treatment centers, and finally retired as Director of Addiction Studies at Seattle University. She now lives in Shelton, Washington. She married Stephen F. Roise, Jr. in 1977. After his death, she partnered with Adrienne Amar. They were married in Washington in January, 2014. Linda is an active Democrat, holding several offices in her local party organization." --Rex, 11/16/22
