Sue Ann Hayes/Gatlin passed from this life at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, and she will be greatly missed.  We thank God for her life and for every life she touched.  The memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Paramount Baptist Church main worship center; 3801 S. Western St., Amarillo, TX 79109.  The funeral home will be Schooler Funeral Home at 4100 S. Georgia in Amarillo.
At this time the family will be at Carroll and Sue’s home at 4008 Danbury Drive.
May the Lord bless all of her family and friends during this time of grief.

"Sue Gatlin: Posted: October 21, 2011 - 12:00am Sue Gatlin, 66, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Paramount Baptist Church with the Rev. Gil Lain officiating. Private family burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Gatlin was born July 27, 1945, in Huntington Park, Calif. She graduated from Tascosa High School in 1963. Sue went to St. Anthony’s School of Nursing, Amarillo College, and West Texas State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in nursing. She married Bill Miracle in 1965; he preceded her in death. She then married Carrol Gatlin in 1980. Mrs. Gatlin taught for Amarillo Independent School District as a health education teacher. Sue loved her family, music, church and cooking. She was a member of Paramount Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mozelle Cooper Hayes; husband, Bill Miracle; and daughter in-law, Rachel Miracle. Survivors include her husband, Carrol Gatlin of Amarillo; a daughter, Sarah Scott and husband Lance of Lubbock; five sons, David Miracle and wife Laurie of San Antonio, Brent Gatlin and wife Tina of Corpus Christi, Jon Miracle and wife Alicia of Brussels, Belgium, Lance Gatlin and wife Belinda of Friona and Mark Miracle and wife DLynn of Bushland; a sister, Carmen Goodwin of Amarillo; and 14 grandchildren, Abby, Bethany, Moriah, Emma, Chloe, Madison, Landon, Morgan, Leighton, Trett, Rayce, William, Hadley and Tatum. The family will receive visitors from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Schooler Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials be to Paramount Baptist Church, Women’s Ministry, 3801 S.
