Terry was born Jan. 21, 1945, in Hugoton, Kan. to James and Lois Ausbun. He graduated from Tascosa High School then went to the Navy for seven years, serving 6 years on a nuclear submarine.
Following his military service, he earned a bachelor’s degree and then began a career in the computer industry as a programmer and computer technician. Terry worked at Indiana Gatlinburg and Portland, Oregon Convention Centers. He also traveled overseas to set up computers. Terry retired in 2011 and moved to Amarillo.
He was preceded in death by a niece, Jamie Lester, in 2012.

John was born in Dumas, TX on November 3rd, 1944. His parents were Carl and Margaret Weidling. Growing up, John set numerous records at Avondale Elementary, was always the team captain, and played quarterback through his high school career. He graduated from Tascosa High school in 1963 and then received a scholarship to University of Texas at Austin and later went to play quarterback and linebacker for UT.
John was a charismatic character, he handed two dollars bills out to make you smile, wished everyone good luck before a movie started, and would give away everything he owned if someone was in need. Everyone considered him their best friend. He was everyone’s best friend.

David was born in Lubbock on March 28, 1945 to Marvin and Melba Miller. He was raised in Amarillo where he attended Tascosa High School and Amarillo College before graduating from UT in 1967. David served in the United States Navy followed by a career with Levi Strauss. Later David returned to the Panhandle to pursue his passion for the oil and gas industry.
David married Suzi in 1991. Together, David and Suzi were involved in many philanthropic endeavors within the community.

25 Lendon "Lindy" SmithEdit Dr. Lendon Jerome Smith “Lindy” was called to be with the Lord while sleeping on the morning of March 2, 2015. He was born on July 3, 1945 to Lendon Sr. and Veda Hazel Smith in Amarillo, Texas. Lendon is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Linda Smith; son, Trace Smith and wife Rebecca, granddaughter Marissa; brother, Keith Crawley and wife Patti; nephew Jason and niece Whitney; and a host of other family and friends. Lendon graduated from West Texas State University in 1970. He proudly served in the United States Navy as a Medical Corpsman for 4 years. He also served in the United States Air Force for 16 years and retired as a Major. Earned several degrees including an Associates degree, Bachelor degree 2 Masters degrees 1 earned from Dallas Theological Seminary. He later earned a Doctorate degree from Tindale Seminary. 26 William McCracken from 1962 YEARBOOKEdit William Henry McCracken, age 68, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Palo Pinto General Hospital in Mineral Wells, Texas. He was born on March 26, 1945 in Childress, Texas, the son of the late John George and Lucille Shackelford McCracken. Henry was a resident of Possum Kingdom Lake for 30 years, Henry owned Lil Mac Construction, P.K. Concrete and McCracken Boat Storage. His health forced him to retire four years ago.
Henry married Jackie Nichols April 1, 1962. Henry married his present wife Ruth Fields Sinclair McCracken in September 17, 1975.
Henry is survived by one daughter, Teresa Kabe of Flagstaff, Arizona, step daughters Brenda Sinclair Whitmire, P. K. Lake, Jennifer Sinclair Marlar and hus-band Jeff of Pampa, Texas. 31 Charles LedbetterEdit January 7, 2011 Preliminary autopsy results show an Amarillo man died Saturday of smoke inhalation when his mobile home burned down, authorities said Thursday.
Fire officials found Charles Ray Ledbetter, 66, and his Labrador retriever Scooter dead in a mobile home at 906 Ottawa Trail, said Randall County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Danny Alexander.
About 2:10 p.m. Saturday, fire crews were dispatched to the mobile home. Randall County, Canyon, Lake Tanglewood and Amarillo fire crews battled the blaze, which began in one mobile home and spread to an unoccupied mobile home, authorities said.
The mobile homes were fully engulfed, but fire crews quickly extinguished the fire, Alexander said.

Gary was born March 2, 1945, in Clarendon, Texas, the son of James Earl Givens and Ella Mae Sullivan. He married Lindsey Rose Dowell in 1967 in Amarillo. He graduated from Tascosa High School in 1963 and WTSU in 1968. He joined the Air Force as an officer, receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross for a mission over North Vietnam. He obtained his CPA certificate and worked at Plains Chevrolet, Brooks Wilson CPA firm and Santa Fe Energy in Amarillo.
He moved in 1990 to Artesia, where he worked at Yates Petroleum Corp. for 17 years, retiring in July 2007. He attended First Baptist Church in Artesia. He loved teaching the Bible and was very thankful for the faith instilled in him by his parents and Bible teachers.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bob Givens of Keyes, Okla.

He was raised in Amarillo and graduated from Tascosa High School. Mr. Phillips received his bachelor's degree and his master's degree at Abilene Christian University. He married Donna Skelton on July 19, 1968, in Amarillo. They moved to Abilene in 1969 and then moved to College Station, where he attended Texas A&M University in 1972.
They lived in Corpus Christi from 1973 until his death. He worked as a salesman for Masoneilan Oil Field Supply and Collier Equipment Corp. Mr. Phillips loved golfing, hunting and fishing.

She wrote back an acknowledgment of how wonderful it was to receive such a beautiful gift signed by everyone then a few wks later, her mother called & informed me (Mark) that Linda had passed away. She had a weakened heart due to a previous heart attack & her mother hadn't expected her to live much longer which is why the card was sent. She left us a matter of months later. Martha Marie Young Kitchell was born in Sherman, Texas, on Jan. 15, 1945, to Stanley Weldon Young and Lois Marie Young. Her father Stanley was an instructor at the Air Force Base in Sherman.
Martha graduated Tascosa High School in Amarillo, Texas. She attended Texas Tech University and became an Eastern Airlines flight attendant.
Martha moved to Atlanta with her former husband, joined Neiman Marcus and raised her three children. She was very active in a number of choral concert groups.
Martha met her husband Jim Kitchell on a choral concert tour throughout Germany and Austria with Peachtree Presbyterian Church Choir in 2000, and they were married on Mother's Day in 2001.
