Larry Hanes Edit
Larry Hanes Obituary
Larry Dewayne Hanes, 78, of Amarillo, TX passed away June 12, 2024.
Larry was born on June 26, 1945 to Sam and Anita Hanes in Amarillo. At a young age, Larry was already driven to stay active and busy. He started delivering newspapers well before he could even read them at age 6. Staying in the Amarillo area, he attended and graduated from Tascosa High School.
As a young man, Larry was interested in how things worked. This passion led him to attend Texas Tech, receiving his Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering. Larry met and married the love of his life, Neila Ritchie on December 16, 1966 in Amarillo, TX. Larry loved to work, keeping active and constantly busy. He liked learning and delved into a wide range of subjects of interest. He especially loved studying the Bible and hi...
