Looking down range 200, 300, 400 and 500 meter setting up targets.
First relay at long range targets. Guys in the lower front are from RCMP's
Third relay with the team of Jaxon Cooley and his father Benny. It was nice for Jaxon to bring his dad along for the shoot. Just kidding! At 12 years old, Jaxon was the youngest shooter we've ever had. Hey! These two are tough competitors. They came in 4th.
The Nailer..., watching his teammate Jim Hatchett go after the 300, 400 meter targets.
Jaxon and The Nailer spotting for our teammates.
Some of the second relay hammering the targets
Robert Helms and Robert Aiken came in 2nd. These two guys have been past winners. They come to the match, all business, ready to shoot and they don't give up points easily. Good work guys! We'll be looking for you next year.
To my right is Aubrey White and to my left is Len Grinnell. Their team name is the "Horsemen". They are both retired RCMP's. They came in "third". Side note: I took my first LE sniper school from them. When these two are hot they are hard to beat. Way to go guys! My wife Joyce is to the far right.
Another good friend, Mark Owens took the "Cold Shot". It was "dead center" Good shooting Mark-O!
Michael Martin takes "Best 3 Shot Group". It was close but at the end of the shoot "he drilled them"! Congratulations, Mike!
On my right is SSG. Shannon Kay and to my left is his teammate SFC. Robert "Rob" Bowman, our "First Place" team. Each walked away with a Leupold MK4 M1 and a first place trophy. SSG.Kay and SFC. Bowman are part of the Stryker Force out of Fort Lewis. Hooah!
To the left is Tony Striebeck of the Nez Perce PD, an old friend and hunting partner. His teammate is John Howe. This was John's first tactical shoot. They took "5th Place". Way to go guys! These two guys were paired up when their partners couldn't make it.They met each other the day before the shoot.
