The Cruise
So, we did the Cruise thing.
My family and I, along with some friends went on a cruise to 3 ports in the Caribbean.
The cruise lasted for 7 days and was aboard the ship Carnival Dream.

Seawolf Park
This is a picture of Seawolf Park.

The ship is the WW2 Destroyer Escort USS Stewart, behind her is the submarine USS Cavalla.

Great Park to visit.

Yep, it's windy
Once we got out to sea, the wind started picking up.  The ship was going 20 knots to which you can add another 10 to 15 knot head wind.  Makes for a really bad hair day.

Forward Lookout
I'm not sure what they call this part of the ship, but it's just above the bridge.  Behind Thu, looks like a remote video camera, used when they are trying to dock the ship.

Leisure Seating on Deck
They had these comfy chairs to sit on while the ship's sea.  We didn't spend much time on them though, cause the weather was too windy and cold.

The Atrium is deep....
If you didn't already know, the Carnival Dream is a big girl.  This shot emphasize how tall she is.  And that floor down there?  It's still above the waterline.

Our first Port, Costa Maya, Mexico
No, sadly we did not have time to visit the giant Maya Water Park.  If there was one issue with out cruise, it was the limited time we had in each port.

Mayan Dance
We were treated to a number of different dance performances by various ethnic groups from around Mexico.

A more contemporary dance
Sorry I don't have more information about this.  In addition to the dance performances, we had a chance to sample different drinks and foods.  All of which were very good.
