1 The bungalow in August 2013
2 November 2013 New door and windows New light and same numbers painted black
3 looking from the living room into the kitchen and office/guest room
4 Ceiling painted aqua, new floor, painted ceiling fan, a "new" hutch from a thrift store, old furniture
5 Aluminum picture window and vericals
6 Replaced with single hung windows and cafe shutters, longer than the previous window
7 Studio just needed some paint and get rid of smelly carpet
8 My new studio easel from a thrift store. Ceiling painted here too.
9 kept this part of the bedroom the same.
10 New ceiling fan, painted walls and ceiling. New bed. Dresser and night table from thrift stores. Old king size quilt to be cut down.
11 Tiny closet in bedroom with door leading to little hall.
12 Door moved, long closet added with plantation shutters. Great grandma's chair.
13 Tiled ceiling in office/guest bedroom.
14 Ceiling tiles ripped out to find original wood ceiling. Ceiling and walls painted. Sliding glass door (from neighbor's yard sale) and new cat door replaced broken aluminum windows. New floor.
15 Old bathroom photographed with flash camera, no windows, depressing!
16 In same space, wonderful machine that washes and dries.
17 Small closet in useless hallway.
18 Replaced with toilet and sink vanity. Shower on the left across from washer/dryer.
19 Vanity and storage.
20 Talavera sink!
21 kitchen cabinets falling apart and some ugly trim.
22 New everything on this side.
23 I declared this the breakfast nook.
24 Old fiberglass benches and a new table and lamp and flat screen TV around the corner. New flooring to come.
I am SO impressed with it all! and more than a bit envious! I am 6 months into my very SLOW process! and yours is so finished and lovely! You have done a great job resurrecting a sweet old house!
