Known as the Barneson Estate, it was designed in 1934 by architect Albert E. Hansen, who also designed Glendale’s City Hall as well as a number of upscale residences in Los Feliz.
A replica of a Scottish hunting lodge, the home’s features include a rustic stone exterior and fireplace, beamed cathedral ceilings, and stained glass windows and doors. Sits on a wooded 1 acre lot.

A stand alone building on the grounds of Ebell Park. The double doors entry and general window positions are a general match to the geography of our 209 Louise interior… and similar woody feel inside.
Could green out the houses across the street or Vis Efx help for the reverse.
A historical note on the Ebell Club…. The picturesque English landscape garden was laid out by Hunt and Burns to provide a setting for the clubhouse and to complement the architecture. It is the only example of its type in Santa Paula. |
