Chinatown Notes: Upon receiving permision and signed contract with the hotel, Film LA will require us to contact George Yoo at the Business Improvement District with a very general email outlining our plans: geoyu28@aol.com.
I've been advised that George will charge for street parking spaces at a $100 per space in the name of "Community Benefit".
Although, he is an employee of the BID, he has no authority to charge us... He will be extremely difficult to get a hold of and will send us an invoice last minute. We can donate a fair amount instead of paying the invoice, but we should be prepared to deal with this situation.
Posting on Spring Street or anywhere in Chinatown during the week will require approval from all impacted businesses.
