Les Paul Art Item (07 June 2023)| Steve, I assume you already have the back story about this piece. Les Paul had asked me to make an extra one for the Smithsonian, because they had promised him a shared wing with Thos. Edison. So I hung on to that one for him. He had the other one in his kitchen for years, but someone absconded with it after he (Les) passed away. I was asked by Julien's of Beverley Hills to send mine to the Les Paul Estate Auction, but declined. So now it is still here on display for all who visit to see. I will try to send you some photos of other items of mine that were sold at that auction. Les was Donna's and my close Friend for many years. We have plenty of info and photos to confirm this "gilded Les Paul guitar piece. It is done in silver with 23K gold encrusting from behind the glass. A must for any serious collector. As a special price for you, I am asking 6000USD for this item. I hope you are well, and staying safe during these horrible fires. TOP STITCH NATIVE FILES (TOP STITCH)| Joe, I do not know if you have the programs to open all the files. There is Coreldraw, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Screen Captures, Sketchup Pro. I hope you can use the "snips" (screen savers). I also organized everything and created 2 files with all the frame dimensions (another 2.5 hours). If you can send me a check for the 2 files you asked for as I was leaving, I would appreciate it. I would be happy to work with you on bringing this beautiful sign to fruition. BOULDER 2008 (August 2008)| This was when I took Donna to where she left her heart years ago. It was her 50th birthday, she was gobsmacked to see the mountains on that first evening. It was dark but you could still see the layers of mountains in the night sky. The next morning was the splender of a dream come true. I made sure our room would have a striking mountain panorama. Coupled with a tidy delivery of a vase full of daisies made it memorable. Enjoy the photos. |
