2013 UKC Premier (June 13 -16th, 2013)TH Marti Top Ten BOB; made Semi-Final cut out of 20 dogs; took #3 in Top Ten Finals out of 20. So ... Out of 483 Top Ten dogs he was #3 ... Not too shabby

SUN Out of 11 GRCHs three males were picked for the final cut - Skippy, Paolo and Hunter - hmmm all three River Ridge dogs in the ring. Judge proceeded to give a 3-5 minute speech to remaining handlers about how nice the final 3 dogs were and what each represented as breeding program strengths ... Paolo BOB and Group 3
SUN Paolo takes a 4th place in Terrier Racing out of I think 17 dogs total.

Premier 2009 (June 11th - 14th, 2009)We had such a wonderful time at Premier! Our dogs did great and we can't wait for next year.
Here are our brags ...
Lydia was awarded an Award of Merit at the National Specialty
Marti took the National Grand Champion Title
Marti took first place in the flat terrier racing on Saturday and made the finals on Sunday.
Mickey took Best of Breed on Friday out of 25 rat terriers
Hannah took Best of Breed on Sunday out of 26 rat terriers. She also took a GROUP 3 out of 16 terriers!!!
This was Hannah's second Premier Best of Breed! She was awarded one in 2008 also.
Hannah also made the Top Ten cut out of 8, but did not recieve the placement. We were thrilled to make the cut.
We are so proud of our dogs accomplishments, there was a VERY LARGE class of GRCHs entered all weekend, and Marti and Hannah made the cut on Saturday even though the best of breed win was awarded to another dog.

We all meet at Kathy and Steve Russell's home in Suffolk, VA. The weather was beautiful 77 Saturday and 8o's Sunday! We all had a blast and we have a few new fast racers!

UKC 2007 Premier (June 15th - 17th 2007)Wow did we have an outstanding time at the 2007 Premier! I couldn't stop smiling the whole weekend. We saw old friends and made some new ones. Trevor made us so very very proud in the invitational competition. One of the other highlight we were excited about coming into Premier was the fact that we had puppies from our kennel showing at Premier for the first time and that was so much fun to watch! They did great too!

There was no class competiton for Bond, but he showed very well. He was awarded Best of Breed, beating two UKC top ten rat terriers (currenlty #4 & #5 dogs). Bond then went on to take a Best in Multibreed show under Judge Corliss Goold!

CT Classic Enfield CT (October 15 & 16th, 2005)Trevor took a fastest dog this weekend in the Terrier Races. He now has 150 points and 3 wins with competition to give him his UFR title. Way to go Trevor.
Now a little about the weekend..
There was so much rain this show weekend in Enfield. We drove down in the rain, set-up the show in the puring rain. Kathy flew and arrived safely with Mikko. We went to our room in the Red Roof about 10:30 Friday night due to Mikko being rejected by US airlines because he was too big! Saturday morning we woke up to a flooded Enfield CT. As we looked out our 2nd floor door all you could see was water rushing in. Cars were under water, people were stuck and cars were being pushed down the waters path to Motel 6. Kathy Russell, Cindy Walsh and I were VERY lucky to have our cars parked on a little higher ground. Our cars had no damage. Thank goodness we had 7 dogs! It was one WET weekend, but we survived! |
