As members of the Minnesota Purebred Dog Breeder's Association we participate in activities that help to educate the public about responsible and ethical dog breeding. Each year we bench at the MN state fair for a full day, answering questions from the public about our breed. Currently we educate about French Bulldogs, but Rat Terriers will soon be added to the mix!

1 2017 state fair We benched on 8/24/2017 and had a total of 7 frenchie on display. In this pic if you look on the left side you can see Lambeau working the crowd.

13 MPBDA booth at the fair 8/31/12 We have a double booth this year - 7 x 14. We have 2 chairs, a rug, a crate and an ottoman with doggy stairs on each side. And a giant fan, and 3 small fans, and a water tub that you cannot quite see in the pix.
14 2012-08-31 The water tub is next to the fan, and Diamond and Terra would hop in and wet themselves down, then hop out and dry in front of the fan. I thought it was funny folks didn't mind petting wet dogs!
15 2012-08-31 I had just sprinkled a cup of kibble all over as the dogs were too excited for breakfast at home. Spot is on top of the ottoman looking for kibble, while Lambo and Terra sniff out kibble on the rug.
16 Its about 8 pm The crowd would NOT leave!
17 The crowd was 3-5 bodies deep At any one time. When the dogs got tired they would lay down next to the fence to allow folks to pet them while they slept.
18 2012-08-31 This pic shows the width of the new booth set up. The banners were very visible and headed off many questions.
