70 day old Jack...
Aiming for my entertainment reading!  He's in the right room, using the right surface - I'd prefer him  use the outdoors or the nursery, but can't blame him for trying!

Pups play in the pile...
We rotate many quilts and comforters for dog beds - when they get dirty we just toss them in the wash, much easier to wash than a pillow style dog bed.  The pups love them too - they have many folds and flaps and are GREAT for hide-n-seek!

Week of bad camera pix.......
This was a whole sequence of shots of Ruby playing with the pups.  Ruby was atop the ottoman and the pups were hiding in the quilt and leaping up to take nips at her.  It was so very cute..(and all I got to show for it is this bad pic!)

72 day old pup did what?
Not sure WHO, but I let the pups outside and then when they were 'empty' I let them in again.  And when I turned around, look what I found!  So what if its in the diningroom, paper trained pups will do their darndest to go on the paper when its available!  Couldn't ask for a better job, made the paper exactly!

73 day old pups on another field trip..
In the name of decent sleep, or at least if your hubby sleeps during the day, on the weekend mornings its prudent to remove the pups from the house so hubby can have peace and quiet.  The pups are crated up, and we all go for a ride to the coffee shop and for errands.  Several hours later, hubby is awake and the pups are socialized to the crates and car rides - viola!

Messing around in the dog yard...
We have rearranged the dog yard 'furniture' and Sonja has taken exception to the pole that is held up by the cinder blocks.

Xena goes for the balance beam!
She is so agile, I think she could be a circus dog!

75 day old pups...
Wrestle in the quilt bed.  And look, undies and socks!  Doggone, pups have raided the laundry!

Its not much.......
But its all we got!  The sod we put in died last fall; no snow cover, and then Ruby ran all over it (OK, I let her run all over it) so more sod is in the plan!

Diva was standing so pretty!

Grass IS greener...
On the other side of the fence, but I tell ya, they don't have as much FUN over there!

Rat runs and racing rats.....
Its a good way to tire them out before putting them down for their naps!

See?  I can't take a decent pic to save my butt this week!
Astro was standing so nice, and then Sonja has to see why I am concentrating so and bumped me!  It has been one of those weeks, ya know?

Ahhh, fresh salad!
The pack was trying to eat the 3 blades of grass we had growing, so I went on a small walk and picked them some!

Pups chomp too!
They seem to prefer the long crab grass today, and so they sniff thru the grasses to pick out particular species to eat.

The pups are getting into it....
At first they were confused, but they follow their leaders and eat up!  Grasses can help cleanse the intestinal tract of parasites and foreign material, but sometimes dogs just eat it because they want salad!
