Torrevieja, urbanization La Siesta and my take on the Spanish property market

Second hand furnished 34m² apartment in these blocks could be bought for about 15.000 EU (or equivalent, the Euro was not introduced yet) in the early 90ties. A considerable oversupply existed at the time. The official price directly from the builder, in this case MASA International, will have been slightly higher. Anybody who bought one and hold on to it should have made a nice profit. The going price for one of the smaller 26m² studio apartments is now 43.000 EU. (Internet checking was not yet available in 1992.)
