Rudersberg-Steinenberg, Petruskirche Slate covered steeple. Suspect a wooden framework underneath. The slate shingles have to be nailed onto something.
Rudersberg-Steinenberg, Petruskirche The 'pixellated' number (1922) could refer to the date of the last renovation.
Rudersberg-Steinenberg Front heavy building adjacent to the church. Minor violation of modern symmetry aesthetics.
Rudersberg-Steinenberg The whole front will be covered in Russian Ivy in summer. Roof looks somewhat warped, will not rule out some lens distortion.
Rudersberg-Steinenberg Window where snowflakes are evoked. Every bit of sympathetic magic helps. Technical detail: Folded silhouette cutting.
Rudersberg-Steinenberg Glazed earthenware vessel. Not sure about the erstwhile payload. Could have been anything from eggs to gherkins. Maybe even choucroute.
Rudersberg-Steinenberg 'Bruegel barn' with wattled and daubed filling. Pre-Roman technique.
