| Wehrbrücke
More Wehrmachtsbrücke (garrison bridge) than Wehrbrücke (weir bridge)? - Incidently also an irrefutable proof for the existence of fairies. Somebody has to chisel out all those minuscule coat of armor zones in small denomination coins after a lost war. Could be mistaken in this particular case but art styles are usually fairly consistent.

Lauffener Männle Nothing against the 'Lauffener Männle' but the name of the town is probably derived from the nearby river rapids, reportedly a fairly recent geological event (BCE 4000 ±), minor piece of natural rerouting, rather than from any particular relay runner service stationed in the vicinity. Crib, growing by 'leaps' and bounds. Compromise, a group of children playing leap frog by the river.

Burg Every 'Ile de Paris' has its castle. There was however not enough space on the small Neckar island to hold both, a castle and a Notre Dame. So the latter was pushed to the West bank. Selfsame rock spur.

Regiswindis Gezemaneh diorama from 1507, all figures badly badly mutilated. Not sure if an appropriate quote from Marcus would help in this case. (The discerning spirit is willing, the stone is weak.)

The elaborate West wall sundial next to the portal.
Thought at first there was some error. So much used to South wall alignments with the earth axis (where you need a tilted flagpole set up to get there). West wall sundials hands have it obviously somewhat easier in this respect.

| Regiswindis, the martyr shrine
The 13th century martyr chapel. The sarcophagus of the former infant saint is located in the basement. One can just make out the tomba through the grille. Not too sure about the miracle part. Actually just a fairly gruesome tabloid story of the 9th century. Chief ingredients, a revengeful nurse, tarnished family honor something, and the unmarred corps of a little girl that was released by the rapids at the third day.

Regiswindis, martyr chapel
Empty niche, somewhat poignant. The 'demedievalisation' of churches by the Reformation was without doubt a deep loss. The window is closed. Could probably insert some Buñuel footage here. Casting some Santiago de Compostella shadows to evoke a non-existing time frame. Not even sure if I got the right reel.
