 Breitenauer reservoir
panoramic view from Löwenstein. The retention basin was built in the 70ties as a Sulm flood control measure. The Audi NSU plant in Heilbronn is located near this river - about the only thing I know about it. Fringe beneficiaries, some estival swimmers.

European Alder without eldritch but with female 'catkins' and truncated leaf tips. [As for the literary tie in: Oehlenschläger: elf king, Herder-Goethe: Erlkönig or alder king - suggestion for saving the phenomenon, a water born elf form in charge of drowning victims.]

Some technical shortcomings (overexposed areas) but the farmer's garden looks genuine. I also like the 'open source code' (half timbered structure, some repair work in progress).
