Toe (May 15, 2008)My trip to the doctor's for in-grown toenail removal.
Do not open this folder if you have a queasy stomach. Do not look at the videos and pictures if you cannot handle such things as needles and blood. The videos show the doctor cutting into my toe.
You have been warned! |

Articulated Cow Skeleton This is the skeleton of a 6 year old angus cross cow that died of natural causes. The skeleton was professionally beetle cleaned and whitened. Mounted in a natural stance, to best align all of the bones for ease of viewing and correct relationship. The spine and neck are mounted on a continuous stainless steel rod, threaded at both ends to allow the skull and tail to be removed and packaged for transport. For permanent display, the tail should be glued, however, the skull is designed to remain removeable. All hardware used to articulate the skeleton is either aluminum or stainless steel and it is mounted on a oak base with castors on a box steel frame for strength and mobility. Included with the skeleton is a steel pull handle which allows it to be moved without handling the skeleton itself.
This item is produced and offered for sale by Promise Land Tannery, Okanogan, Washington, USA.

Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos Kee and I visited the NPH orphanage in January, 2012. Here is a paste from their website:
In 1954, a boy was arrested for stealing from the poor box of a small church in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. The young priest in charge, Father William Wasson of the United States, was unwilling to press charges against this "thief." Instead, he asked for custody of the boy. One week later, the judge sent him eight more homeless boys. By year's end, 32 boys were in residence and Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos™ (NPH), Spanish for "Our Little Brothers and Sisters," was born.
Over 17,600 children have grown up in the NPH family, which now operates homes in eight additional countries: Honduras, Haiti, Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, Peru and Bolivia. Today, over 3,300 children are being cared for in a loving, secure environment. |
