Articulated Cow Skeleton
This is the skeleton of a 6 year old angus cross cow that died of natural causes.  The skeleton was professionally beetle cleaned and whitened.  Mounted in a natural stance, to best align all of the bones for ease of viewing and correct relationship.  The spine and neck are mounted on a continuous stainless steel rod, threaded at both ends to allow the skull and tail to be removed and packaged for transport.  For permanent display, the tail should be glued, however, the skull is designed to remain removeable.  All hardware used to articulate the skeleton is either aluminum or stainless steel and it is mounted on a oak base with castors on a box steel frame for strength and mobility.  Included with the skeleton is a steel pull handle which allows it to be moved without handling the skeleton itself.

This item is produced and offered for sale by Promise Land Tannery, Okanogan, Washington, USA.
