I did set out to find Es Claper des Gegant, another Talayotic settlement, but I somehow missed it, climbing all over Sa Tortuga instead. The rest was cross country hiking.

Claper des Gegant I must have practically passed it. The bus dropped me off at Camp Planeta. I walked down PMV 4042 till I passed the fork at Corte Pume and then turned off the road and hiked up Sa Tortuga. Through helm oak grove and macchia. Did stumble upon sundry artifacts but no Talayotic walls. A better map might have helped.
Claper des Gegant Corte Pume, PMV 4042. Could that be a road marker.

Claper des Gegant Providence has provided rocks with Swiss cheese holes for Arum to grow.
Claper des Gegant more tucked away Arum
Claper des Gegant After the flood. Mountain top rock draped in a fishing net. I know that all of Majorca was once covered with sea but I do not think it was that recent.
Claper des Gegant more fishing tackle
Claper des Gegant Better than no wild life at all. The tangerine breasted bird which I temporarily evicted from an olive tree was to fast for me.

Claper des Gegant Not sure what those Talaiots used for footwear but some of those rocks have rather sharp edges.
Claper des Gegant Could probably market it as moon rock without the crustaceous lichens and the telltale diffraction blue.
