The ab's are all fuchsia. First time this design style has been verified (through us). Also, the little black navete at the tip of one strand is atypical.

It looks great on, BTW, lays perfectly and goes with everything, as those pink ab's look red or magenta, depending on the light.

I have argued myself into and out of believing this is D&E several times. I think it IS because it takes my breath away. That and the construction of the earrings especially. I have seen a couple of photos either on the site or in member's albums with margarita (Or is it marguarite?) stones set in a similar fashion. Hook looks right to me. I'm puzzled by the pink color coming up the bottom sides of the margarita stones as can be seen in the 3rd photo. I'm afraid these photos don't do justice to the fire and flash of this necklace and earrings.

Long, skinny siam-red navettes in a multi-layered swirl pattern and two sizes of sapphire AB chatons, all prong-set. The pinwheel earrings and the smaller scattered chatons on the brooch are D&E traits, as is the combination of navettes with AB chatons. Similar to 2004 verified #139-140.

Once you learn what is and isn't D&E, you will look up one day and see something on someone's site and just know it is D&E, even though it is not listed as such. In this example, one of our new members had this on her site and I told her she had some D&E that was not listed as D&E. The rest, as they say, is history.

Very heavy goldtone-plating. All stones are set closed-back. Pin mechanism and clip-design is correct for D&E.

This stirred up a great discussion. You can see some traits that would lead you to believe it is D&E, but then as you look closer, you notice the large oval stones are smaller than the setting would accommodate and pasted in. Mr. DeLizza reviewed it and noted, "It was a bad casting, but it is ours." Now - would you have thought this was D&E or a fake? - DEJ

These earring backs can be seen on earrings #14 in the confirmed 2004 album and these earrings also feature more of the scrollwork. The same texture back that is featured on this set can be seen on Demi Parure #184 in the confirmed 2006 album.

This butterfly brooch is very dimensional. Note the unusual color combination and the shapes to the rhinestone. The antenna on this butterfly matches the antenna on #44 in the confirmed figural album 2004-2006.

The same reinforcement that is used on the top wings of this butterfly is seen on dragonfly #54 in the confirmed figural album 2004-2006. It is also the same piece that was used for legs on # 58 and #60 in the same album. The earring backs used on these earrings are seen on lots of D&E earrings.

Great black and white (decal) with curled wires and rhinestones. D&E made this in black/white and white/black. There may be more colors, but we know of the two.
