Heroes come from all walks of life and can be found in every part of the world. Some people think you must be brave to be a hero and that only certain people have what it takes to be both.
But I think everyone has the makings to be a hero and to be brave. I believe heroism and bravery are born out of fear - the fear of knowing that if you don't do something to affect the outcome, to defend others or yourself, to be willing to be a part of one voice and one country, you will become a pawn and at the mercy of the merciless.
And as long as there is hope, anything is possible and as long as we make the effort to do our part, freedom will continue to ring throughout our land. - DEJ

Red symbolizes the fires that could not be tamed and the thousands of people who lost their lives that day and as a result of that day.
White symbolizes their innocence as they became the unsuspecting target for annihilation.
Blue symbolizes our trust, loyalty, wisdom, and faith and courage to know the difference between right and wrong and that doing the right thing is not always the easiest path to follow. - DEJ
