Mom, Dad, Christy, Jeff, Jace, Clayton, and Lauren decided to go to Hawaii. We went with friends to the Big Island first. On July 9th, Mom and Dad left for Oahu until the 13th. Then they met us on Maui. We had a great time. The only thing missing was Jennie and Craig and the kids. We left an open seat at each meal for them, just in case they decided to surprise us.

1 Going To The Airport! Limo ride to SFO. Is dad nervous or happy to be there?
2 First dinner on the Big Island Mom and Dad enjoying their first Hawaiian dinner on the Big Island.
3 Grammy Loves Papa The kids leave their mark in a new traditional display. White rock over lava rock.
4 Where's Craig and Jenny? We left an open seat, just in case someone decided to surprise us.
5 Mom? Where are you going? A guy in a loin cloth carrying a torch showed and Mom said Aloha.
6 First Day Is Over We watched the sunset from our table at the Fairmont.
7 Day Two on Black Sand Beach Mom and Dad with John, Michelle, and JW overlooking Black Sand Beach in South island.
8 Thompson Lava Tube The kids sitting is the lava tube. This is a dormant tube, right?
9 Volcano! We saw the active volcano. No lava, but lots of smoke and ash.
10 Lunch, Hawaiian Style We had a picnic at the Volcano House at the park. Mom says, Hi. We are trying to teach her the shaka wave.
11 Queen of the Condo! Mom finds a comfortable spot to rest.
12 Take the picture! You can almost hear Christy say, "Would you hurry and take the picture, my cheeks hurt".
13 Who likes to dive? We like to dive. No. We love to dive! Woo Whoooo!
14 Something smells. Is Clayton the only one who smells it? Doorknob!
15 Ewwwww! I think that Manta Ray dealt one.
16 Fish and a few Sea Urchin Clayton stepped on a similar urchin on Day 2 of the trip.
17 Uh, can I help you? Kinda of looks like a cross between Edward G. Robinson and Marty Feldman and The Incredible Mr. Limpet.
