w-TP-51 fly-by
The last 2 seat ORIGINAL P-51C that was used for pilot training in WWII.  He is making a Love pass over the runway at Love Field, home of the Dallas Frontiers of Flight Museum.  This plane is owned by the Collings Foundation.  they provided flights in this plane, a B-17G and a B-24K, all restored WWII aircraft.

This is the B-24K Liberator bomber, named Witchcraft, taxiing in from a flight.

Here the B-17G, named 9-0-9, and Witchcraft fly tight formation on a lead B-24 tail gun position...  this is a sight that is not often seen.

This is the bombardier/gunner position in the nose of the B-17G bomber.  From this position, the bomb loads were released on enemy positions.

Republic F-105 Thunderchief
The first single engine fighter/bomber built to carry a nuke payload.  Used in Vietnam as a bomber and like this one, a wild Weasel Sam missile killer.

The workhorse of the US Navy in Korea and Vietnam, this aircraft could carry a massive amount of weapons, could linger in the air for hours, and provided CLOSE air support to the boots on the ground.
