~Rainbow Serpent~
This is my very first piece made in my Metalsmithing class at Kendall College of Art & Design! Im so very excited;)
This Sterling Silver ring has a hammered texturing on the band and one of my lampwork beads set into a bezel on the top. The bead was made with black glass...and has a slithering wave of dichroic glass trailing over the black. The bead is then encased in clear and it has a ton of depth and detail. it looks like the "dichroic snake" is floating in outerspace:)
The band has a light blackened patina around the bezel to give it depth and highlights.
I LOVE IT!!! hehee..
