Dixie
Dixie is a shy but very sweet girl! She is wary of new people but is very affectionate to those who gain her trust. Dixie loves other dogs, but doesn't mind their space very well (she clamors for resources but isn't aggressive or intimidating to other dogs). Dixie is very energetic and loves to run and walk. She prefers to chew on harder toys, but isn't destructive. Dixie would be a great companion to someone who is active and would like a get a companion for their puppy or younger dog.
Dixie was rescued from a breeder when she was 1 year old and trained very well by the girl who took her in. Unfortunately, she had to surrender Dixie when she separated from her husband and no longer had any income. That's where New Rattitude came in and we are fostering Dixie until she is ready to be adopted.
