The Richland Section of the American Chemical Society celebrates its 2002 Chemist of the Year, John Swanson. A technical poster event, held at the Columbia River Exhibition of History Science & Technology (CREHST) Museum, honored John, and also welcomed the graduating seniors from the Eastern Oregon University Student Affiliate into the "folds" of the Society as professional chemists.
