5 A commemorative pendant made for the Cistercian Monastery on Caldey, a small island off the Pembrokeshire coast of Wales, near Tenby. Probably 1980's in date as they hadn't been sold there for 10-15 years when I asked in December 2004 (information from John Cattini on Caldey Island)

11 Spectacular pendant measuring 56mm in diameter made to commemorate Coventry Cathedral, England. It has an amzing set of 121 coloured glass mosaic inlays making up the central cross and 'stained glass window' design in an antiqued silver setting. After the bombing of Coventry in WWII, the new Coventry Cathedral was commissioned and built after the destruction of the medieval CathedraI. It was begun in 1956 and consecrated in 1962, and this pendant could be 1960's and later after the opening.

13 The original Canterbury Cross - a bronze 9th century Anglo-Saxon cross with silver inlay which was found in St George's Street, Canterbury, Kent in 1867 and which is now one of the treasures of the Cathedral, and one of the most widely copied Anglo-Saxon designs in jewellery and other media.

17 Mappa Mundi (map of the world) which was created c.1300 AD by Richard of Haldingham or Lafford (Holdingham and Sleaford in Lincolnshire). His name is on the map itself. It arrived at Hereford Cathedral in 1305 and has been kept there ever since.

30 Brooch almost certainly made in 1953 to commemorate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II on 2 June 1953. The tudor roses and fleurs de lys around the border are from the heraldry associated with the British monarchy.
