Brooch based on one of a pair of small late Roman silver dishes or platters found in the Mildenhall Treasure Hoard in the 1940's (Suffolk, England), and dating to the 4th century AD. It has a  Bacchic scene  with maenads (female followers of Bacchus) and the god Pan.
