San Blas (March 15, 2009)On our way north to Mazatlan 35 miles north of Banderas bay, we stopped off in Matanchen Bay near the town of San Blas. We visited the town, the beach palapas and took a wonderful "jungle" cruise through the mangroves in a panga. |

La Manzanilla (Febuary 2, 2009)La Manzanilla is a small town located in Bahia Tenacatita. Its about a 3 mile dingy ride across the bay and then a surf landing. Its a lovely little town made up of mostly US and Canadian snowbirds. |

San Patricio Melaque (January 29, 2009)San Patricio Melaque or "Rocky melaque" is across the bay from Barra de Navidad. Its is a small town with a sometimes good anchorage or it be rocky and rolly. It has a lot of snowbirds fro the US and Canada. Some stay in condos and apartments while others bring their RVs. Perpetua spent a couple of days anchored here on our trip north. |
