Port Aransas
1. Port Aransas  (October 14, 2005)
We took the RV to the Texas Coast, at Port Aransas, which is located near Corpis Christi. Jenica & Jay meet us there and stayed with us in the RV. The RV park was a hundred yards off the beach. This is a very nice area and we could have spent a month there!

NW Trip
2. NW Trip  (September 23, 2005)
Susan and I made a very quick trip to the NW to visit our kids and grandkids. It was fun but short. It was also a surprise 40th birthday party for Steve. One of Steve's hobbies is to particpate in the highland games. At the party there was alittle exhibition of those games.

Another time while visiting Jenica we went to the Southfork Ranch. This is the set of the "Dallas" TV show. Quite the place.

While visiting Jenica in Dallas we went to the JFK 6th floor Museum. Unfortunately you couldn't take pictures inside. (Darn!)

We visited another cavern. When its HOT outside a cavern is a nice place to visit. Although in Texas they tend to be very humid!

Inner Space Cavern

We're now based out of Austin Texas as Susan landed a 6 month contract. Since our arrival we've contunued our exploration of the area. The Inner Space Cavern is located in Georgetown about 25 miles north of our RV Park.

4th weekend
7. 4th weekend  (July 2, 2005)
Over  the forth of july weekend we went to the New Braunfels/Canyon Lake area south of Austin about 75 miles. There we went to Schlitterbahn Water park on the 2nd.

On the 3rd we "tubed" the Guadalupe River, for 6 hours! I didn't take my camera to either place however Jenica had a disposable water proof camera so these pics are from her camera.

While staying with Jenica we went to the Fort Worth Zoo. Danny Meyer was in town visitng Jenica and joined us.

Fort Huachuca
11. Fort Huachuca  (April 30, 2005)
When we left Tucson we went to Whetstone to see our friends and pickup our car we had stored there. While there we went to Fort Huachuca. This is a old army base that was setup in the 1870's and is still being used. It was the first base to have black troopers.

Biosphere 2
12. Biosphere 2  (April 28, 2005)
While in Tucson we went to see the Biosphere. This is a living laboratory, as in the environment inside the building was designed to support life, without external life support.

Sanbino Canyon

We left Green Valley and spent a couple of days in Tucson. While there we went to a park located right in the city named Sanbino Canyon.

The Tubac Presido State Park is in Arizona. It is located just south of Green Valley. We spent the afternoon visiting this town and park.

Titan II
15. Titan II  (April 26, 2005)
Once back in the US we went to Green Valley Airizona. While visiting some friends we played while they were at work. We toured a Titan II missile silo. It was really errie being there and then going down inside. This whole facility was a weapon of the cold war.
