"Salty dog. That has been brought up before, and I think that ay be the case. I have located some maps of the missouri river, from 1894, and it is the vicinity of a place that is logged onto that map as the "Spint Nalt (Ind)", whatever that meant, back in 1894. I am having the 1894 maps geo referenced, and will be able to get a GPS location on all of the old settlements in the reservoir." --Rollie, 05/07/08
