Gitane DG-255 Maccaferri Gypsy Jazz
Here's a very nice pre owned Guitar:
The Gitane DG-255 Maccaferri Style Gypsy Jazz Guitar is a replica of the oval soundhole Modele Jazz produced by Selmer after Maccaferri's departure. 14 frets to the body with a slotted headstock, easily recognisable in early photos of Django! With its longer scale length the DG-255 is a breeze to play and the smaller soundhole gives the guitar its characteristic snap, and percussive and focused sound required by afficionados. There is nothing else on the market that even comes close. Let Gitane Put the Gypsy in Your Soul!
