Blast Cult Bass destroyed by Schenker
Bass was delivered this afternoon laying down in the back of delivery van. It was originally sent from Sweden strapped upright onto a large pallet.
As far as I know this is the sad time line of events that lead to todays delivery.
It arrived at Nuneaton on on Friday 5th September. It then traveled to Leeds with Tuffnalls over that weekend. But Tuffnalls could not deliver it as it was too high being vertical on a pallet. It was then lost for a few days and arrived back in Nuneaton on Friday 12th Sept. I was now told by Schenker that it had been removed from it's pallet and original vertical position and was laying flat. They said they had asked for some photographs and everything looked OK. It then should have traveled up to Doncaster for delivery to me on Monday morning 15th Sept. I called after 12 noon to find out where it was and was told that it was still in Nuneaton as again they could not find it to load onto the Doncaster truck. They promised it would be delivered today by a "Man in a Van" and it would cost them a lot of money but I deserved to finally get my bass. And yes, I did get it as you can see but not what I deserved. | Album by nicks guitars. Photos by mad dog. 1 - 31 of 31 Total. 0 Visits. |
