Jazz
Don't let the word "senior" scare you off! Jazz is an easygoing and sweet rattie-chi girl who loves her trail walks and wants nothing more than to hang out with you. For adoption info or an application, please visit the New Rattitude Website.

Meet Jazz, a sweet and beautiful 9-year old rattie mix.
Download MPEG4 2 This video shows Jazz's freedom ride from a bad set of circumstances to her new foster home in Virginia. You can see her in action, from her perky walk down the tarmac to her zen approach to the flight, and her curiosity about her new surroundings upon landing. This girl has it all.
Jazz may love to cuddle but she's no couch potato. She loves her leash walks around the neighborhood and on the trails of the nearby park, and she loves the ride in the car to get there. If foster mom delays in taking her out, Jazz barks to say "Let's go!"
Jazz is well-behaved on leash and good about waiting for her foster sibling if he's dawdling over a good smell. Wait a minute - let ME check that out. And any squirrels in the area had better watch out!
She also has a goofy side - she loves to roll and stretch in the backyard!
After she's patrolled the yard or the neighborhood, Jazz finds a spot close to (or on!) her person and will snuggle down for as long as you'll sit with her. Being with you is her primary purpose in life.
Sitting next to foster mom's desk during a conference call. She's ready to help out! She recently attended a Board meeting with foster mom, greeted the other Board members nicely, and was completely well-behaved for the three hour meeting.
Back in the yard - way more interesting than a stuffy Board meeting.
And then it snowed! This Southern girl took care of business but she's not a fan. She was back in the house as fast as she could go and headed straight for the couch.
Later that same snowy morning.
Snugged into foster mom's leg.
Jazz's playful side shows up while she shakes a dog toy. She will also play a gentle game of tug of war.
She gets along very nicely with her foster sibling.
More sibling togetherness.
Jazz is making herself comfortable in foster mom's favorite chair.
Settled in! (As long as foster mom stays in sight.)
"Winter, spring, summer, or fall, all you have to do is call, and I'll be there, you've got a friend. . . ." And you couldn't ask for a better one.
