This sad case in VA was a 10-yr old owner surrender (no more time or money to care for pup).  Happy ending, though!  NR was going to pull this darling, but she was immediately adopted - she is SAFE!

This true-to-terrier-personality pup got himself in trouble when he & his sibling were chasing some farm animals in the rural area just outside of Athens, GA.  Mischievous Huckleberry's brother was adopted while Huckleberry waited for NR to get an open foster.  He is now a safe NR pup (being fostered in Alabama)!

This beautiful pup in a NC shelter tugged at a lot of NR members' heartstrings, although he weighs slightly more than could truly be considered rattie (although a lot of rattie can be seen).  He is now SAFE in his new home (adopted for personal loving by one of NR's own members)!
