1 Actively in labor, Sugar Plum was dropped off in an AZ's shelter lobby by her owner. Despite losing her puppies & having emergency surgery, this sweet dog's resilience is amazing. Sugar Plus has enjoyed the company of several kind humans who brought her up to CA (over a period of multiple days to keep her stress level reduced) where she is settling in nicely. This beautiful chocolate rattie is safe & is being fostered in CA.
2 Noelle was an owner surrender in NC where she was labeled unfriendly with other dogs. Completely untrue!! This friendly pup has interacted well with her temporary foster home's pups as well as with her permanent foster home's pups. Noelle is safe & being fostered in VA.
3 8-yr old owner surrender Oscar was in a metro Atlanta shelter & displeased with/frightened being in the shelter environment. Once a shelter worker took him in a back room with her, this little 10-lb. fella started prancing all around & asked to be picked up. New Rattitude has rescued tiny Oscar; he is safe & being fostered in GA.
4 This 3-yr old male found himself in a NC shelter but also on New Rattitude's radar. He was quickly adopted from the shelter, though, and is now safe!
5 Momma dog & her puppies were in need of rescue from a NC shelter. New Rattitude was set to pull them and learned another rescued had gotten them to safety.

7 This little female with mange desperately needed a rescue commitment, & New Rattitude was working to pull her when we learned that a rescue specializing in mange cases had a spot open up for her. She will get the medical treatment she needs & find her forever family now that she is safe!
8 These two pups were owner surrenders due to her landlord telling her she'd be evicted if she kept the dogs. The owner contacted New Rattitude for help; a home was found for these pup, so both of these "mature" pups will stay together (safely)!

10 Stray male Crash had been at a Los Angeles shelter since September & was incredibly timid. He has a front leg which looks to have been broken & not set properly; however, he walks effortlessly with just a unique appearance. New Rattitude has him safe in his Idaho foster home where foster mom reports he is good with other dogs & is starting to come out of his shell more & more each day.
11 This young female was a stray in a north metro Atlanta shelter. Before New Rattitude could go pull her, she got adopted and is now safe.
12 Owner surrender Stella was turned in to a south GA veterinarian's office for euthanasia by a neighbor when Stella's owner passed away. Thankfully, the vet staff knew she was a perfectly healthy pup & contacted New Rattitude to let them know they were taking her to the shelter. New Rattitude quickly pulled this pup to safety where she is reported to be good with children & dogs. Stella will be fostered in NC.
13 This 4-yr old female was a stray in a south metro Atlanta shelter. New Rattitude was set to pull her and learned she had been adopted. She is safe.
