1 Meet Jacko! He is an 11 month old, 15 lb. bundle of sweetness!
2 Jacko was rescued from a "bad situation" in Louisiana. A guardian kept him safe until he could be transported to his New Rattitude foster home in Michigan.
3 Jacko flew from LA to MI via private plane, courtesy of Pilots N Paws.
4 At the "spa" getting a nail trim and bath. He is a very even-tempered dog - a bit shy - but affectionate and loveable.
5 Jacko gets along well with his foster sister, who is close to his size.
6 Jacko has the beautiful long, classic, Rat Terrier legs!
7 Jacko likes nothing better than to be on someone's lap, preferably being given a belly rub. He'll take human affection given every opportunity!
8 Jacko is a calm puppy who prefers snuggling over playing, although he does have his playful side! (see next video)
9 Jacko will play toss and tug with a person and will also initiate playing with toys by himself.
10 This was Jacko's first leash walk at his foster home. He did pretty well. He was interested in smelling everything. He walked ahead but didn't pull much unless he saw something he was excited about (squirrel, cat, etc.)
11 Jacko enjoyed a bully stick for the first time today (Dec. 2)! He has been a picky eater, even turning his nose up at dog treats. That is beginning to turn around, although he does still prefer to eat kibble with a little something tasty mixed in.
