1 Hi! I'm Brodie!
2 I am a gentle, loyal, very well behaved six-year-old.
3 Currently I'm rather stout (29 lb.) because my former mama liked to show her love by giving me lots of treats.
4 But I'm starting to lose weight in my temporary home by getting a lot more exercise and lots of brisk walks. Click for a short video of me getting all excited when the leash comes out and it's time to go. I can barely contain myself! (Click the "Download MOV" link to view it rightside up.)
5 One of the most interesting parts of going on walks is meeting new people and other dogs.

8 Just checking out the goings-on in the neighborhood. By the way, I'm reliably house trained of course!
9 I tailor my activity to the energy level of the household, and when there's not much going on, I'll settle in for a snooze.
10 Of course sunbathing is also fun.
11 As soon as you are ready, I'm ready to go run and romp in the backyard.

15 I'm really very flexible when it comes to having a good time.

18 And I'd be really happy for you to teach me more. I'm very food motivated, so if you're going to offer treats, I'm going to try to figure out what it is that you want me to do. They tell me that I'm very smart.
19 But if you're too busy to play with me...
20 ... well, then (yawn)...

23 Ah, yeah, that is wonderful. I adore you.
24 Truly, I just want to be in a home, quiet or active, where I can dote on my people and show what a loyal companion I am.
